Ingredients

• 4 slicesCountry bread
• 300 gMixed wild mushrooms
• 30 gButter
• 1 tbspOlive oil
• 1 cloveGarlic
• 4 sprigsFresh thyme
• 0,5 tspSalt
• 0,3 tspBlack pepper
• 30 gParmesan

Preparation

1. 1Clean the mushrooms gently and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
2. 2Peel and finely chop the garlic. Strip the thyme leaves from the stems.
3. 3Toast the bread slices in a pan or toaster until golden brown.
4. 4Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet, add the mushrooms and sauté vigorously over high heat for about 5 minutes.
5. 5Add the garlic and thyme, and cook for another 2 minutes over medium heat.
6. 6Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
7. 7Distribute the warm mushroom mixture evenly over the toasted bread slices and sprinkle with a little Parmesan if desired.
