2024 Riesling dry

Ingredients

• 250 gwheat flour
• 125 mlwater
• 2 tbspvegetable oil
• 1 pinchsalt
• 200 gcrème fraîche
• 100 gbacon bits
• 2 piecesonions
• 1 pinchblack pepper

Preparation

1. 1Preheat the oven and the baking sheet to 230°C (446°F) using top/bottom heat.
2. 2Knead the flour, water, oil, and a pinch of salt until a smooth dough forms.
3. 3Divide the dough into two portions on a floured surface and roll each out until paper-thin.
4. 4Stir the crème fraîche with pepper and a small pinch of salt until smooth, then spread evenly over the dough bases.
5. 5Peel the onions, slice them into fine rings, and scatter them along with the bacon bits over the cream.
6. 6Bake the Flammkuchen one after the other on the hot baking sheet for about 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are crispy and lightly browned.
